Handmade Sterling Silver Claddagh Ring

€140.00

A minimal handmade solid sterling silver Claddagh ring.

The design of each ring is individually freehand drawn before being hand cut, formed, and finished so each ring is unique.

They are super comfortable to wear and work well with other rings. Approx. 1cm tall from the tip of the crown to the base of the heart with a tapered band.

These rings are individually handmade by me in my Dublin studio in recycled sterling silver.

Traditionally symbolising love, loyalty, and friendship, the Claddagh ring was originally worn as a symbol of relationship status:

  • On the left hand with the heart facing inward (the pointed end of the heart pointing towards the knuckle) meant the person was married

  • On the right hand with the heart facing outward (the pointed end of the heart pointing towards the fingernail) meant the person was single

  • On the right hand with the heart facing inward (the pointed end of the heart pointing towards the fingernail) meant the person was in a relationship.

Hallmarked for sterling silver 925 by the Dublin Assay Office.

As each ring is handmade to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery within Ireland, and 4-5 weeks for delivery abroad. If you need your piece faster, just get in touch and I will accommodate this where I can. Different textures and finishes can also be added on request - comes as standard with a mirror polish.
